  • Sticky Becoming A Better Communicator

    BODY LANGUAGE IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU!
    It is imperative for you to self examine whether your body is saying what you want it to. Or can you rather observe other people's body language? It's about time you pay attention to body language of people you admire- people who are liked and respected hugely by others.

    These are the important aspects you should observe with regard to their body language:
    a) Watch their posture when seated and standing
    b) Watch their facial expresssions
    c) Do they have eye contact, what kind?
    graceful, pondering, beholding or sad?  d) Do they do anything that contradicts their positive body language?
    For example their tone of voice when speaking or even laughing, courtsey etc.

    GETTING THAT INFORMATION FROM UNUSUAL SOURCES!

    Set up a climate of  mutual trust and cooperation

    Show you are listening by potraying right body        language.

    DID YOU KNOW THAT YOU CAN CHANGE HOW YOU FEEL JUST BY MERELY ADJUSTING YOUR BODY LANGUAGE??

    Ask any English professor or business communicator, and you’ll receive the same answer: Whether you’re speaking to the public or chatting with an investor or vendor over lunch, the quality of your vocabulary affects your company’s bottom line.

    It’s not surprising that grammarians and business experts don’t recommend botching the language to the point where you interchange the words good and well. “It isn’t uncommon, even at fairly high levels of business, to find people who have never been told they’re using improper grammar,” says Suzanne Bates, president and CEO of Bates Communications, a consulting firm that helps executives and professionals improve their speaking style.

    “Even if people aren’t telling you you’re using incorrect grammar, people are evaluating you, and often concluding you’re not intelligent,” says Bates

    Many people believe franchise ownership is for the true entrepreneur--the type A personality with the confidence to blaze new trails in the business world. The truth is actually quite different.

    Franchising is about following a proven system to replicate the success of the original unit that the franchise is based on. Entrepreneurs often create innovative new businesses, but it's the Steady Eddie types that tend to produce most of the success in franchises.

    The ability and willingness to follow directions is a key marker of someone who would make a good franchisee. After all, if the franchisor has already established a franchise model that works, a person would be wasting time if he tried to fight the system and create something different.

    Besides the ability to follow a system, there are a number of other personality traits common to most successful franchisees

  • Sticky Excitement of Failing In The World Of Winners

    Winners interpret failure as feedback.

     It is seen as information reaching you from your project or endeavour to the effect that the methods that you are applying have not yet yielded the desired results. This information therefore behooves you to give the current methods more time, or to boost your efforts with new methods. Critically,this information is not an indictment on your abilities or potential. It is essentially an appraisal of the current methods.
    feedback of failed art

    Failure is sometimes tuition fees towards superior knowledge.

    After all success is all about solving one problem after another

  • Believe It to Live It!

    Life's driver is mere faith.
    faith in cars we drive;
    faith in banks we entrust our wealth          upon;
    faith in people we choose to build families with.
    Is that true? Or is there other invisible power that we have faith in, that is the source of all things going well in our lives?

  • Woman of accountability

    OK, here is the big one: accountability. Don’t ask someone to hold you accountable if you are just going to spit in their face and tell them that they don’t know what they are talking about.

     If you make the decision to have someone hold you accountable - you and only you have to be willing to grab a hold of your knees and take the swat. Otherwise you will stay where you are and nothing will change.

    One thing you will find as you share with trusted persons, that sometimes we don’t see things as clearly as we might think. We just need a new perspective and/or the next steps to overcome.

    Talking through things brings new understanding. It also allows us to see where our thinking or mindset is wrong or needs adjusted.
